Hide your “Folder Options”

Saturday, November 7, 2009 ·

To prevent nosy people mess up the file extension on the PC, there is a style for you to try. This method is often also used malware to disguise itself. Kick-it is to remove "Folder Options" from Windows Explorer.
Follow the steps below:

1. Click [Start]> [Run], then run the Registry editor by typing "regedit" followed by pressing [Enter].
2. On screen regedit, open the path HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies \ Explorer.
3
. Create a new DWORD value.
4. Give the name of this DWORD with the name "NoFolderOptions".
5. Double click on [NoFolderOptions], the content value to 1.
6. Close the Registry menu earlier and restart your PC then the control panel will disappear from your PC.

Well, if you want to restore back?
Change the value it NoFolderOptions DWORD value to be 0 (zero) or delete it NoFolderOptions (but unfortunately if deleted, do not quite make science .. hehe). After that restart PC again... ^_^
